Habits to Keep our Homes Clean

Can you believe it’s winter already? Time certainly has a way of disappearing quickly! If you’re anything like us, you probably had a long list of things you wanted to get done nice and early in the new-year, and yet you’re still to tackle the last half of your list.
With time such an issue in our busy hectic lives, it pays to have a few tips up your sleeve when it comes to making the most of it. Especially when it comes to ‘getting things done’ and keeping the house clean.
We’ve compiled a list of daily habits that will help keep your home tidy, because we all know that otherwise, cleaning becomes hideous!
  1. Make your bed
  2. Tackle your laundry
  3. Stay on top of kitchen dishes
  4. Give the floors a quick sweep
  5. 15 minute tidy
Although it might seem like a lot of time invested, it’s much easier to keep on top of cleaning duties daily! If everyone works together, you can knock it all out pronto. The kids can help to!
Keeping up with a daily cleaning schedule might seem tricky at first, but eventually, it will become and feel more natural. Plus, getting these simple jobs out of the way allows for much more time to do the ‘other’ more unusual cleaning tasks that pop up every now and then.
When was the last time you cleaned your fridge? What about your oven? It can
be useful to create a schedule of when you’ll dedicate time to the different parts of your house.
We've included a handy checklist, perfect to pop on your fridge as a reminder! Pssst, make sure your fridge is clean first. Sigrid's Stainless Steel Cleaner will help remove obvious fingerprints, marks and grime.
